Name on Passport

My wife just switched her State ID to my Name and on her passport it still has her maiden Name and the issue is that I have a ticket leaving to Europe in 3 weeks, Do I need to get her a New Passport and change the name on the ticket?

Her Passport doesn't expire for 1 more year

I always just make the name hyphenated with both names. Never had a problem.

If your problem is that the name on the ticket does not match the name on the form of ID that you will present to the airline when checking in call your travel agent or airline and have them insert an OSI with your correct name.

I am not sure if that's your problem or it's something else.

Sounds like name on ticket matches passport-then you should have no problems. Always bring marriage license to be safe, but how would they know she changed her name on state id?

I have the opposite for many years (maiden name on state id, married name on passport) and have never had a problem traveling.

Thanks for the feedback, The issue I was thinking is if the State Government reports the information to the Federal Government.
