Matching to national is very easy, just fill out a form online. If they need proof they'll email you.

Correct, but if you have already mached once to Executive and then you try to Rematch to Executive Elite the form wont work.

Here is semi-long story behind it:
I was upgraded to Avis PC with the United Club card (when that was still available).
Before status matching became widely available, I used AMEX plat to get executive status at National.
So when the opportunity came to status match National with Avis and Hertz PC for Executive Elite, the system was not automatically allowing the match to Executive Elite as I already had Executive. So I had to email Customer Support and we had this back and forth exchange.
It seems they noticed the Rabbi in my title so on the mail piece with my new card and status it says "Blessings to Israel". picture is attached.
Pretty neat.

I am trying to status match from hertz Prez to National. they keep telling me that i need proof that i have prez from Jan. I hav the card and its on my account but i cant find it online...

Login; my account; print my card or my profile then hit membership information on the top. Take a screenshot, it should work.

Emerald (free) = 7 credits
Executive = 6 credits
Executive Elite = 5 credits

I am Hertz Platinum, which I pay for, but I have over 60 rentals year in the last 8 months. When I tried way back when to match, the rep at National denied the match, since you can buy Hertz Platinum. In the meantime, I got regular Executive status from my Citi AA card. If they saw that I actually rented 60 times this year, would they change their mind, and upgrade me to EE?
