How long after canceling the card does the AF refund post?

Are you asking because it has been a while already? My experience with Citi is usually quite fast.

Hasn't been a while. Just wondering if I should pay the AF or if the refund will post soon enough that the credit will show up before next statement cuts.

In the grand scheme it doesn't matter. Either you don't and it zeroes out or you do and request a check.

Wait for it to post, and then cancel with in 37 days of the AF hitting.

Thanks! It's 37 days after the due date for the AF? I'm a bit fuzzy on what I did for the AA exec 100k cards

No. It's 37 days from when the AF gets charged.

If I spend 10K during the first year that I have the card do I get the certificate as soon as the statement closes or only after I pay the AF? Also is it a weekend or weekday as well?

It's weekend only and I believe it's after the AF is charged although as you can see you can still get it refunded if you cancel it quickly.
