how long does it take to get the certificates once you meet the spend?

no blackout dates. as long as there is a weekend room available for 80k HH points at the Waldorf Jerusalem (in your case) you will be able to book it

Haven't used my card in a couple of months,just got an three month bonus offer on the phone.
Make five transactions of at least $5 each month,earn 1K points a month.

Just got a message from Citi that my HHonors was closed due to inactivity in the last 25 months. I called and asked them why no heads up about this before they did that...they said the only thing they can do is another hard pull to reopen the card.

Anyone have experience?

I had that in the past on a card after 36 months no activity and couldn't get them to reopen it.
