Topic Wiki

A number of active DDFers highly recommend AwardWallet Plus.
Some say it's a "game changer." Others say it has saved them many points/miles for a measly $10/year.

UPDATE:
AwareWallet Plus price has increased (as of 02/17) for new members to $30 a year. Grandfathered accounts remain at $10 a year.

how much did it cost?
You can get it for $1 or 5 referrals.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

USA Today’s downloadable MileTracker application

I use Pageonce. It has an excellent app for the blackberry, and it keeps track of airline programs, banks, utilities, cc etc. It sends me notifications for any upcoming itinerary or bill that's due etc. I love it!

Your opinion on AwardWallet
« Reply #27 on: June 04, 2010, 09:50:16 AM »
Hey guys out there who are using AwardWallet:

I am considering signing up for Awardwallet.com.
Honestly I'm a little skeptical because that might mean a whole bunch of useless emails from them (I dont know if monthly, weekly or even daily) with maybe offers, or news etc.

Can you guys please post your opinion? Is it worth it? Do they have special good offers sometimes? Do they alert you of stuff as soon as its out there? (Not that we need them for that, we have Dan...)
Is it just to track your points expiration and nothing else?

Anyone who knows of similar websites and wants to tell us about it is welcome as well.
Thank you.

i signed up with awardwallet and i haven't been getting any promotional email's from them. only a monthly report on my miles and warning when things are expiring (and i think you can adjust your settings on those things)

Yup, I use them.
I just hope they never have a data breach...
They do give you the option of saving your passwords on your computer. The downside is, when logging on with a different computer you'll have to re enter the passwords.

It is just for keeping track of miles/points but it is awesome.

How does it compare to points.com. Don't they also keep track of your points on various programs?

points.com is limited to some points programs. For example, they don't keep track of United miles. It's just not in their system.

Sure is. My favorite is Mint.  Love it...
www.mint.com

Queensdeals:
Can you expand a little bit about what mint.com does?
Does it tell you about upcoming annual fees on credit cards?
Is it safe and secure?
What's it all about?

To Dan:
Do you approve of mint.com?

mint.com was bought by intuit which in turn own quicken, personally I love quicken, although I only use it on my PC and not online.  It should allow you to schedule bills due, so it should be able to let you know if you have a fee coming up; especially if you told it to remind you.

Thats what I use, and I was surprised not to see it in the article. Has anyone tried those other ones? How do they compare to AW?

All those mentioned in the article are paid services except for traxo. But being relatively new it doesn't have nearly as many programs that you can follow.
There are other free programs but awardwallet is still the way to go.
For all those that are still uncertain, Dan uses awardwallet.

a free program is only going to spend so much on security...
