united - booking a ticket less then 21days early

i need to make united tickets using miles, the only thing is being less the 21 days in advance the want to charge 75$ per person extra
any suggestions?

If you have UR points you can have someone with status or a club card book em for you.
Otherwise I think you're out of luck.

The standard card is not a club card. The club card is the $395 one which could be had first year fee waived.

 i called up and told them i was new to the program and not really familiar with the program and i didnt know about this fee so the waived the 75$ fee but i had to pay the 25$ booking fee
