How is the biz class on this route?
Any updates on this? My only award routing from LAX-TLV in business class was LAX-CDG on Air Tahiti Nui and ELAL CDG-TLV.
Kosher food wasn't on option on Air Tahiti according to AA, so I'll call them direct. Anything else to know?

If they're re-configuring  their planes with 2 classes of service why in the world wouldn't they install lie flat beds in Biz?

Because they have basically no competition.

That is some very old news.

"New" can mean temporally, which can refer to the announcement itself,  (you obviously interepreted it as), or "new" can refer to the seats themselves, which is what was meant.

But, yes, old announcement.

So if your competition has a crappy product wouldn't you want to offer a better product and draw more business towards you, and possibly charge more?

If there are 2 airlines, with a poor product, flying to a destination wouldn't that create a necessity for another airline, with a good product, to merge into the market or perhaps there's simply not enough traffic.
