My aunt flew from Atlantic City - to Florida..... by accident.
She thought she was on a flight to Detroit. Her Boarding pass was for Detroit.

Before 9/11, I flew JFK-LAS without any ID. Didnt realize that I had left my wallet/license home until trying to get my rental car in Vegas.

2 years ago my 17yo (at the time)  neighbor flew EWR-MSP with no license. She was coming home for a funeral. They let her go. Crazy!

a few years ago i was flying to Israel thru Prague i think, and a lady got on the plane and she was claiming to sit next to me. there was already a passenger sitting there and they both had the same seat on the boarding pass. after much research the stewardess on the plane realized this lady was supposed to be flying on a totally different flight to somewhere else. Till this day im still unsure on how she did that and i laugh to think she almost ended up in Prague- when she wanted to fly to Nebraska...

Minors traveling domestically don't need any ID. Travelling internationally everybody needs a passport.

I may not have all the details correct but a couple years back a belmar boy who lives near the airport in chicago (i think) got bored bain hazmanim, so he took a walk to the airport, slipped through the fence onto the tarmac saw a plane loading walked right up the stairs into first class and sat down. I forgot where he arrived to but apparently he approached security told them what happened and asked politely to be returned home, they didn't beleive the story and freaked out shutting down the airport for a couple hours while sorting it all out...or something close to that.
