Suggestions for Shalosh Seudot before the fast

Any ideas for what you will serve this Shabbos before the fast?

We have one person who can't have dairy and another who is celiac.
Fun FUn Fun.
So far I have fruit, lukshen kugel (for the ones who can have it)
Pasta salad (again for the non celiac)
Leftover Grilled chicken if anybody wants fleishigs

eat lunch at 11 ish,
and 3rd seuda have deli roll salad shnitzel and kugal....how wrong can that go?

Yes because on Shabbos it is harder to heat up the normal stuff I eat before Yom Kippur.

-1, water is best for hydration.

Deli and kugel is loaded with salt.  Plenty of better options.

theres always a hot plate or blech, and anything else, then, you can have chicken on the bone or something,

If someone usually takes the time release tylenol b4 the fast, would he be allowed to take It by shalosh seudos??
I would say not- even if its not refua (time release) its probably hachana

Shouldnt be a problem because its not recognizable that its for after shabbos. Or you can just do suppository

My Rav spoke about this last shabbos. As far as refuah goes u r correct that since it's time release it isn't a problem. As far as hachana goes the ruv quoted a psak saying that if you mix it in to something else, like a yogurt or applesauce. then since it isn't nikkur anymore what you're doing there won't be a hachana problem either. You should really mix it b4 shabbos but bdieved on shabbos you can also mix it.

I breifly saw in this weeks "voice of lakewood" that you cannot take the pills on shabbos. I didn't really go through it to see who he quotes. but it seems there may be a machlokes here

My friend told me that he was at 770 once and the Rebbe was learning (maybe the Halacha aspect of seudos Shabbos) after Mincha on Shabbos. He looked up and told someone "we need to eat Shalosh Seudos, please bring challa." They went scrambling through the whole building but could not find any lechem mishna, that was the end of that. Anyone here was there that week or heard about that? Explanations?

Why do you some Jewda is Chabad? As for the story what explanation is needed?

We do eat something just don't usually wash, and usually eat either mezonos or fruit before mincha. Either way we can wash and eat it's just preferable to spend the time learning or singing nigunim during the holiest time of the week insteadof eating... Obviously everyone will eat this week.

this is a simplified answer and within Chabad i'm sure some vary...
