What do people think of this dilemma:
Chase sent me a referral bonus for 5K UR pts for every Ink referral. "Coincidentally," I only got the offer on my Ink which had AF due shortly (as opposed to my wife's due later). Someone used my link, but Chase said that the bonus will probably post next cycle, and AF just posted on this past cycle. In other words, I will probably have to allow 30 days (maybe even 60) from AF post before bonus appears. First SM attempt to waive AF was denied. Any thoughts?

First of all, you have 180 days to cancel and get the AF back. And PUTPAC and ask them to waive the AF.

Been wondering this for a while, the way I understand it it's 1 point for regular spend then 4 bonus, the portal works the same of 1 points for spend and then the bonus points so if the portal offer is 2p/$ it's really only 6 points total.

Doesn't work for gift cards, right? (I know it says that, I want to know if it's confirmed.)

So I tried PUTPAC, still denied. But rep did point out that I can downgrade card to no fee and I would assume I would still get referral bonus, though I did not officially confirm (will confirm if I continue to get denied for AF cancellation).

None for a low annual fee. I believe there are nine US based cards that offer it.
The cheapest way to get lounge access is probably the City National Bank’s Crystal Visa Card if you can get approved. (On the top ten most underrated cards IMO)

IIRC there is an issue with the airline credit, in regards to a 1099. For lounge access, it's definitely the best option, since there's no af.
