Just applied and got this message: "Thanks for Applying. Please call us as soon as possible at 1-800-243-6010 Mon-Fri 8am to 10pm EST to discuss your application with a Customer Support Specialist. We look forward to speaking with you."

See on FT that they advise not to call Recon, but this doesn't appear to be the same number.  Anyone with experience on this?  Thanks

no such luck by me. They transferred me to lending services. I then promptly hung up preferring the computer to an agent. They approved you on the spot without transferring you?

update: approved! Via the computer. Imo if I had called in I'm dead on arrival. I have way way over 5/2 limit. More like 40/2. 😀

So that means the 24/5 rule is not that it automaticaly declines the app, It's the rep reviewing it that will decline it based on 24/5

Yeah, I only called because it said "please call us", and that's usually just an ID verification thing. After I verified address, phone rep approved.  But then made a mistake of calling for my second app (United Biz) when it was "pending". Should have waited for computers to sort that out. Had 2 horrible HUCAs. Obviously not done trying but they're pretty nasty, especially about a relatively new business that already was approved for one card.
