The fallacy among bloggers of UR cards not being churnable or requiring different biz names has always given me a nice chuckle.

Noticed that too, off DDF it's a very commonly held perception.

 Probably better that way.

Anyone else notice that FM was able to get 2 Ink Plus cards with 1 ssn by applying under different businesses?  This would make the card fully churnable (not just old ink vs new ink).
Why not just cancel and reapply?

Who needs 2 businesses for IB and IP?  ;D

If I have an actual business (corporation) with an EIN (tax ID number), but no credit, am I better off just putting my SSN when applying for Biz cards? Does Chase give the option of both tax ID and SSN, or once I input the tax ID it doesn't ask for SSN?

You always have to add your personal SS#.

Are there any reasons to/not to include the tax ID?

So apparently it's YMMV at different shell stations re: if the discount is off credit or cash price. I went back to my regular shell yesterdau on mclean ave off the saw mill in yonkers and got the discount off the cash price. Not only that, there is a promotion between shell and stop and shop where you get 10 cpg off per for every $100 you spend, up to $2.20 off per gallon (usable at one fill up), so I did it yesterday and was able to get both the stop and shop and the gift card discount. Regular price was $3.99 and i paid $3.79.

My bonus posted for this card and I haven't even paid the $5k back, although the four cycles did end. Do you usually get the bonus after just spending the money or after paying it all back?

When the statement closes following you spend.  No payment necessary.

I think you're thinking about Amex to post the pending points.

Even with Amex, it's just the MR points that need paying to post. SPG, Delta, etc... not needed.

How does Chase know if a purchase from Sprint, VZW etc is for service or a device?

They don't.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

They don't.

I paid my first VZW bill of $674 which included phone charges. I just got my 2nd bill of $343, I can squeeze it in to the same statement if i make the payment today.

Will having 2 bills for different amounts result in me not getting the 5x on one of them?

Should I wait until after the statement closes to pay the 2nd bill?
