Funny this topic should come up now...I was wondering the same thing. Recently I was out with friends and had a few drinks that had lemon/lime in it, and I didn't think for a second there'd be an issue but than someone mentioned it may be not kosher...

There is a lot of reid about the lemon in diet coke and why it's not a problem (look at any date in a hotel lounge)

i stumbled across  this thread while planning a trip,saw dans post and made a mental note to try it when I had both ingredients. Definitely don't plan on repeating it  ;)

Thought this thread may have had something to do with keeping roofies out of your drinks at bars. Shoulda known better...
