JFK Lounge Pay at the Door?
« on: July 29, 2012, 01:23:03 AM »
Is the "pay as you go" lounge in Terminal 4 at JFK still open? I have a 7 hour layover. Is it worth the entry fee?  Another option is to head into Cedarhurst for lunch- How much is a cab to Cedarhurst?

Can should be around $15/20 if I had to guess. You can also go to queens for lunch.
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

+1
If you go to Cedarhurst they turn the meter to 2x once they cross into Nassau County (and an unscrupulous cab driver can take advantage). Head to Main Street in Queens, nearly as many choices for lunch, similar distance, and no 2x rate in the cab.
