I booked my husband and daughter together because she's only 8, so the discount was $200.00 for both of them together.  Would I have been able to book them separately to apply the discount to them individually you think, her being only 8?  Just wondering if I missed out on saving more.  This would be good to know for future opportunities.

You could have definitely saved by packaging it as 1 person per booking. Next time! :) :)

I chk'd that also :)

Maybe it was a dates issue. When I chk'd TLV - AMM it worked, but with sky high hotel prices.

i lost out on this deal bec even when i clicked on hotels in a diff city, on the next page it would only show hotels for the city i was flying into.

I have, in the past, booked airline tickets separately for myself and my six year old and then just called the airline to put our reservations together without an issue, being that it was the same flight etc.  But I was more concerned that travelocity wouldn't allow me to book a hotel reservation under an 8 year old.  Is there a way to get around that, especially since my intention is to not even use the hotel booking (in Bangkok)?

I booked a ticket for Rafi with his real bday, no problem.  Free miles on the free flight!
I probably selected adult in the beginning, but I always do that.

I thought it would not be a problem as the airline will charge an additional fee at the gate for a flight attendant to guard the child if no adults were present. I flew alone quite a few times as a kid as young 11.

I didn't think travelocity will not allow the booking to go through with a child. I stand corrected if thats the case

I had to keep clearing the cache - didn't always help so I was using incognito window and for some reason that worked.
