I also received the letter. It makes sense that they will wait a couple of days to cancel it to allow you to contact them as contemplated by the letter.
Anyone going to file any complaints?
They are entirely within the terms of the promotion which explicitly states that if terms are violated, Travelocity can cancel the ticket or charge your credit card the full value of the promotion. Here, several of the terms were violated. The code was not to be posted on a public website; it was to be used only by those who obtained the code at the conference; and it was not to be used on multiple bookings.
I'll wait and see what happens to my bookings.
