Lowest cost duty-free for alcohol

Surprised there is no master thread on this, especially with the amount of young bachurim, (chabad and otherwise :) ) who frequent DDF.

I'll be flying through TLV, AMM, BKK, and HKG on an upcoming trip, and would like to purchase a few bottles of spirits.

Does anyone have any ideas if any particular duty-free would have lower prices than others? Frequent sales?

My experience with the TLV duty-free is that prices aren't any good.

Cheapest alcohol is generally in CA.  And not the rip-off duty free.

I've seen some really great deals @ BevMo in LA on all kinds of alchohol, cheaper than duty free.

Depends what type of alcohol u are looking for
For kosher wine tlv is very well priced specifically when u buy 3 u get one free

The cheapest liquor(scotch and bourbon) in the country i know of is sold in montgomery county as all liquor is sold only by the goverments 24 stores here is the link http://www6.montgomerycountymd.gov/dlctmpl.asp?url=/content/dlc/liquor/home/index.asp on the right hand side click on monthly specials the prices are unbelivable for example 30 yr old glenfiddich is 266 i checked in wine on the 9 wich is a huge liquor store near lakewood and the price is drumroll please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  529
woodford reserve 1.75l on special was 50 dollar maybe 51 or 49 in wine on 9 it was 78 etc. etc. etc.

doesnt look like it but the closest one to baltimore is only 35 minutes away
and to washington dc there are  even closer ones
