Called this morning at 8 o'clock have a flight motzi shabbos the 26th and she said I need to call back Monday morning. Once I get an appointment (hopefully) do they give you a new passport on the spot?

Called this morning the earliest appointment was Friday the 25th 9AM. (flying MS the 26th) when can I realistically expect the passport with a 9AM appointment?  Will it get to close to shabbos?

I need to renew my child's passport and we are travelling to Israel for Pesach in 5.5 weeks. Expedited service says takes 5-7 weeks. Will I get back in time or should I wait until right before and do it with service for travel within 5 days?

My sister is supposed to fly from EWR to TLV on TAP Portugal tonight, and just realized she lost her Israeli and US passports. My questions are: A. What’s the quickest way to get either of the passports? B. Any hope for the airline to rebook her later this week?

If you need an expedited appointment call l 1-877-487-2778 at 8 AM SHARP EST. Press 1 1 2 2 to speak to a live rep to schedule you an expedited appointment.

Trick is to press the last 2 at 8AM, rather than starting the call at 8AM. I had 2 people try it this morning- one pressed "2" at 8AM and had no hold times and got an appointment for today. The second called at 8AM, had a 30 min wait, and was told that the closest they have available is in VT.

I called earlier to time it, took 47 seconds if you listen to prompt, used the site below to call in 7:59:13 and timed it to dial last 2 @ 8:00:00 got agent who got me apnt in 2 weeks in Phily (traveling the following Sunday) so that’s perfect

What kind of proof of plans of travel do they require? I am hoping to go away in around 4 weeks but afraid to apply reg route. I started the online renewal but afraid it wont be here intime..

FYI, I did online renewal around a month ago, from when I submitted my app until I received my passport was 6 days (submitted on Monday and received on Saturday). I paid for expedited service as well as shipping. Of course that isn't guaranteed to be the case for everyone but that should at least provide some comfort that you'll receive it in plenty of time.

I can't say the same for mail in forms, I submitted mail in expedited for my kids the same time and status is still "in process", its been that way for over 4 weeks. They cashed my check and put the status to "in process" about 3 days after I sent but still status has yet to change after that. I still have a few weeks till travel and its still under the 5 - 7 weeks estimate for expedited so I'm not worried (yet).

I guess I spoke to soon, I just got the kids passports today. So mail in expedited with expedited shipping took about 4-1/2 weeks. Online status now shows "approved" and description says "preparing to ship", lol, I guess that status is delayed.

If i need a passport for infant born in israel who does not yet have crba,
 can i apply for crba  with emergency passport appt and recieve passport on the spot
