Just a heads up bofa is very strange in regards to where they pull from. Because they own multiple companies different cards can pull from different places.
Hmmm, so this makes a 3BM complicated. I was hoping to take advantage of my empty TransUnion report.
So let's try it this way:
@ AsherO, what BOA card are you referring to here:
NY state:
Amex: Experian (three browser trick confirmed, at least for me)
Bank of America: TransUnion
CapitalOne: All three bureaus, duh!
Chase: Experian (three browser trick confirmed, at least for me)
Citi: Equifax (three browser trick confirmed, though it seems biz card was a separate pull), both personal and biz pulls
Discover: TransUnion
SimmondsFirst: TransUnion
Summary
Citi's the only one that pulled Equifax.
Amex and Chase both pulled Experian. (my score is 30 points lower here because of all the pulls)
Others pulled TransUnion
@lybbtthl, what BOA cards are you referring to here
Does anyone know any banks that for sure do not pull from Experian in CA?
I recently moved from NY to CA; am I going to get all my pulls according the way CA is known to do it? or will I still be subject to NY's credit pulling rules?
BTW
my pulls have been as follows: (all while still in NY)
Chase: TransUnion, Experian
AMEX: TransUnion, Experian, Equifax
Macy's: Experian
Bank of America: Experian, Equifax
Citi: Equifax
I have more than 1 inquiry from Chase & AMEX, I'm not sure if every time they pulled all the above-mentioned reports.
Suppose I try my luck and go for a 3BM, what other worthwhile cards does BOA have?
