Interesting. Well my only experience ever flying Business Domestic was with US Airways  PHX-LIH and they wouldn't let me in. I'd never flown domestic business before so it didn't even occur to me I couldn't go in.

When flying business you can get into most lounges in the terminal you are flying from. Whether it's the airline you are flying or a partner airline.
Thanks. Can you also go to a different terminal for a partner airline lounge if you have time?

Last month I flew JFK-LAX business, I walked into the lounge in JFK with an expired continental pass and they lady said "you don't need a pass your're ticketed in business..."
Nobody gives access for domestic except for select transcons or if on an int'l itin.

I just flew business from JFK to LAS on Delta and had no issues getting into their lounge at JFK with the boarding passes.
 
On the return however I flew AA and they would not let me in with the boarding passes but accepted the amex platinum card for entry.
