High speed video playback

I have some online training to do. there are lots of videos to watch and I would love to watch them on high speed. I do this all the time with VLC media player but I can't figure out a way to do it with embedded flash videos. any suggestions?

they aren't really required. Their are tests on the info, so I just wan't to watch them quickly and take the tests.

can't u just run them in the background while u do something else? If u need to click next on each screen, then just use an auto mouse clicker at night...

I actually want to watch the videos so that I learn whats needed to pass the test. I just want to watch them quickly

thanks I was just about to post about MySpeed. It's a small piece of software that works to speed up playback, trying the trial now will see if I end up spending $30 for the full version.

so far myspeed is only  speeding up the audio stream and leaving the video lagging behind
