IIRC the letter has the pre-assigned CA pin, which they don't want coming along with the card...

New feature to scan checks in to MyVanilla Debit card account via a mobile app. Wait 10 days for no fee access to the funds or pay a fee to access the funds in minutes. The fee is either 1% for printed payroll and government checks or 4% for all others. Either way, the minimum fee is $5. They are giving me $5 to try it out. Pathetic.

What is interesting is that once they allow the check, you keep the funds even if it later bounces, unless you knew it was a bad check when you scanned it in.
I found it strange that even though the mailing begins by mentioning MyVanilla and Incomm, the page that shows the participating prepaid cards shows many cards except MyVanilla.
Did anyone else get this mailing?
