Changing your origin or destination city (United)
« on: July 31, 2012, 02:20:56 PM »
I was scheduled to fly from Orlando to Paris on Lufthansa through Frankfort in 23 Days, and I called to change the ticket to fly from Orlando to Paris through Canada and they went to change me $75 because I am changing airlines

Is this New?

Or they are overcharging me

Thanks

Dan,

I did and they charged me and my wife $75 each, the reason for the change was the Air Canada Boeing 777-300 Business vrs Lufthansa A330 Old Business Class that I had on my old reservation. I think Executive First Suites is better then Lufthansa

You should NOT have been charged for that. i did that and they charged me as well , all it took was a dispute with the credit card. i won the dispute pretty quickly, just be sure to explain clearly that you were wrongfully charged

I know that on their site, they don't show anywhere that they charge you for changing airlines, so I will double check their site again and call them to refund me the money.

Thanks
