Wow, it really does look like toothpaste! Does it also cean your teeth and come in mint?
I highly doubt I'm going to waste the 20 hours I'm in ZRH in a grocery though.

Na, Katzy's is decent, but not spectacular. But the Sizzling Beef from Dini's, it can change your life
Tierra Sur at Herzog Winery FTW.

Dan, you have to take it for moish, as I ony have handluggage, and thommy is considered liquid...
Dan, every supermarket sells thommy.
Just push it into your luggage at some point.

About those clothing, make sure its just clothing...

Thanks for making sure, that I would not screw dan with drugs ;-)

It was an order made online straight to dans house
And that the tix to lucerne is a return tix.
If chuchem comes to zrh airport, I would. Ask chuchem to bring thommy to the airport. Dan has to pick up from the carousel his luggage, hand over the drugs to chuchem, and recheck in immediately your luggage (after stuffing in thommy)
So you will travel weightless.

Thanks for making sure, that I would not screw dan with drugs ;-)

I got dan a daypass for all trains. Just trying to help

My flight to zrh on friday morning had a bit of delay, so I had 25 mins to get from E53-A63.

Little general tip: if in a rush to get into A terminal, rather say sorry and jump to the front of the line by the xray checks, than going to the left by the biz/first xray check, as they are so board, that when someone that comes there (that looks jewish) will get a full check...

Home sweet home!

It seems like LH 4221 arrived 41 minutes late today, giving you about 20 minutes to make the connection at FRA.

What do you think Dan did?

A. Took an earlier flight from CDG to FRA to make the connection

B. Got a lounge agent to change this circuitous routing to a more direct path to TLV

C. Had a black Mercedes pick him up plane side and wisk him off to the plane to VCE

D. Got stuck in FRA for the evening

:-)

too many unknowns seems 4220 arrived only 20 mins late so no one would think they would end up arriving at FRA 40 mins late. they probabaly told them to contnue onto FRA and they will be better able to take care of you there CDG is ST Country and VCE is also so no non-stops to be had

now the 4880 left 1 min early so either they were able to make that flight since it wasnt Held up, or since LH owns LX maybe they simply put them onto a FRA-ZRH Non-Stop since it was Irrops.

Now since Dan doesnt have any status with M&M LH & LXs program they might not be to accomdating, but with BMI Gold you never know

then it all depends what the reason for the 20 min late arrival into CDG was as well as the reason for the 40 min delay in arriving into FRA. since the European Union rules will govern what the Carrier owes and must do for the passengers

then I take it that you know that the VCE-ZRH-TLV is a different tkt and has nothing to do with the tkt he used to leave the US with. Its called Nesting

I completely neglected to consider that. That makes it a real stretch to imagine that LH would put him through to ZRH non-stop. But with the status....you never know

what status?? BMI Gold is good for BMI OK its *Gold but its not M&M Gold so if they see he has no status with M&M less of a chance they will help out

i had a problem with CO and I had my UA# in the res, they werent so forthcoming till I showed them my CO Plat card. Now both UA & CO are *A but till the merge is completed they are 2 different companies.

even thou LH owns BMI & LX it runs them as separate Carriers.on top of which they were flying Coach VCE-ZRH-TLV

Id think that if the delay was LHs fault they if there wasnt enough time to make the VCE flight that LH put them onto a LH or LX FRA-ZRH flight. which BTW are all flown by LH planes with a code share LX flight # as well as LH #

Or Dan decided to spend YT in ZRH with chumcem or Antwepren with SuperFlyer

Good to see you guys are tracking my flights  :D

CDG-FRA was quite the hiccup.
We landed with 30 minutes until the departure of FRA-VCE.
We were the first off the plane, but you have to get bussed into the terminal unless you are HON Circle.
Waiting for the bus to fill up and get bussed to the terminal left us with 12 minutes until departure.
We ran like noone's ever ran before from A1 to A40 with a 10 second stop in the *G/Senator lounge to tell them to call the gate to hold it open.
We made it about 7 minutes before departure and they closed the gate right after us.

Of course our bags didn't make it to TLV with us though  :P
But I'm getting ahead of myself...more of that in the trip report.

Dan Welcome to the Club you now are an offical frequent flyer, the main thing is getting those bags.

Bli ayin haroah , in over 30 yrs of flying with a number of those yrs with in excess of 150k actual miles BIS, Ive yet to lose a bag. I know odds are against me. But ive been in your sit many a time, and to TLV as well where Shabbos was in the clothes I was wearing. And SuperFlyer can tell U i dont go in suits! If I ddint tell him the color of the baseball cap I was wearing and which train I was on and being 1 of the last walking down the platform, Im afarid he never would have known it was me.

Dans real reason for wanting to hit Paris is revealed! He just needed an acomplaince so he had to wait till he was married to pull this off; http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2010-05-20-france-museum-paintings-theft_N.htm?csp=Travel

and he wanted all of us to believe it was only in order to stay at the Park Hyatt

If you go to Rome, there's a frum tour guide, Roy Deliner (?) thats amazing as a tour guide of the vatican museums.  He coauthored the book 'secrets of the cistine chapel'.  You can go on this tour and not enter the actual cistine chapel.  Rome wasn't built in a day, but 2 is more than enough to see..eg titus arch, the vatican and some other interesting sites.  Yotvata was wonderful.  There is a problem with the flayshig restaurants due to them serving both glatt and non-glatt.
