I bring a snap and go which is 2 parts, the carseat and the wheels/base and they check it as 2 pieces.

Would ELAL let me keep a carseat on the floor in front of my seat in business and put the baby in it when no turbulence?

Doubt it. I believe the floors need to be clear.

Turkish allows 50 lb. for a lap-child
Have a Turkish flight at the end of March back to NY.
Saw online that they allow 50lb for a lap child but the DIMENSIONS of the bag are actually SMALLER than the standard bag that they allow. Do you know if they're strict about this? Anyone with experience on Turkish?

In case there's no extra seat for a carseat for an infant, would airlines allow it to be gate-checked "in addition" to a gate-checked stroller?
Are there airlines who only allow one item to be gate-checked?
Yes, I've gate checked a stroller and car seat with out a hitch (Delta)

Just flew AB Business, I had a bad experience.

My 1.5 and 2.5 year old weren't quiet (not crying just talking a bit) so the staff asked me to move to economy class!

Also the seat was not the new business class so it was not comfortable.

Would I be able to get back my BA miles for the price difference?

(Also didn't get 3 of my suitcases)

Just flew JFK-LAX rt in J with 2 kids 1 toddler and 1 infant. Both had seats so I brought along Chicco and the Cosco. Toddler was a disaster for the first hr of the flight until I decided to ditch the car seat and let her lay down on the seat. She slept the rest of the flight. On the return I brought it inboard just in case but kept it in the closet (FA was nice enought to let me put it there) and once again with the seat in recline she slept the whole way.

So for anyone that got a seat for their toddler age kid in J I'd recommend to ditch the Cosco and just put the seat back for sleep time.

Have another trip in July to HNL in J with both kids again and will just check the Cosco.

For the fun of it I would play the "involuntary downgrade " game and make them pay some heavy Euros according to EU regulations.
