We all have those times with those exact reactions, give it some time and you'll forget you swore against it
I might forget but my wife won't. (Flying is not the best part of a trip for her)

That's what I thought by me but I'm not over my last flight and my wife is all into the next already even though she deals with the child most of the time

I'm right with you. booked a third seat for my next flight even though he's still gonna be under 2. hoping locking him in the car seat puts him to sleep.

Has anyone ever been denied bringing a car seat onboard in J when paying for a  lap child and there are empty seats?

Anyone ever fly with the bugaboo travel bag? It's huge and clumsy.
Wondering if they'll even let me gate check it.
Any other ideas of how to travel with a bugaboo? Don't need the bassinet anymore

Just get a regular cheap stroller bag. I used this to gate check the Chameleon3 base on multiple flights.

Thanks! And the base and seat fit in well?
I guess it's not padded but it'll help for scuffs.
Do you need to take the stroller apart? I assume the wheels need to come off.

Don't need to take it apart. That bag will only fit the stroller base (of the Chameleon at least).

When I flew with it, I used a regular car seat as the baby seat (using an adapter). The car seat either went on the plane with us, or in another bag under.

We've since upgraded our travel system to the Doona, which makes everything so much simpler.

Check here if your bugaboo will fit in the bag.

If it fits in the overhead bin, no. If not, then obviously yes. And they may make you check it even if there are empty seats
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Are strollers taken off the plane and given to passengers at arrival gate between connecting flights?

Some airports will not allow it.

Meaning the first or the second?
