?
Ba charges the infant fare and gives you a seat on the way back. Most other airlines charge you a full/child fare for both legs

Anyone have experience adding an infant to the second leg in a multi city?
For an international flight. Flying United.
Don’t want to buy seat just add as in lap.
Thanks in advance

Did you try it? Should work I'd imagine.

BUMP

Are there any DPs on this with various airlines (international travel)?
With CX leaving TLV it did not work.

United claims that they charge abt 10% of the fare you paid any reason not to believe?
Someone upthread wrote that delta charged 10% of available fare when adding the infant.

DROPR! United told me that they charge based on price when adding infant. I’ve paid over 200$ to add an infant on a 700$ AA ticket.
If someone has experience with United, please post.

I'm pretty sure I've tried it on domestic flights. Logistical issue - you need to make two separate reservations, and a child reservation needs to be associated with an adult reservation, theiry being that the adult will take care of the child (or pay a fee for the airline to babysit) If the adult is in a different cabin they won't let you do that.

I had my daughter ticketed by herself and attached to my J reservation (after a bunch of hucas), it even showed up on my online confirmation but when I got to the airport they had already seen that it was a Y ticket and were expecting me.

A TA can create a res for an adult add the infant and then just ticket the infant and not the adult.

just booked ANA award, flying on UA and AC. The ANA agent, after speaking to supervisor said they can only book lap infant for the 2nd leg (ac) but not the united. It's pricing out at 400 or so. United says they can only book their leg for about 200.
737 max making HUCA a pain, anyone know if this is legit? (I did this a few years ago and ANA was able to ticket the whole thing)

When traveling with a forward facing car seat, is there a way to avoid the buckle being right in your kid's back?

Not IME, but my kid never seemed to notice.

I managed to get the buckle past the back of the seat.

Might depend on the car seat. Our Britax CT does not work with the buckle in back, and we've always managed to close it on the side.  Then again, it's a bit loose on the side which kind of defeats the purpose...

AA metal. Been discussed before. Yet have a policy that is a bit over a year old. No bulky strollers or any strollers over 20lbs
Is this still enforced? asking about taking a double stroller on AA, and who enforces it? In other words, if I get past security, will they make me take it back when I get to the gate?  Asking about AA Domestic small plane flight.
(Not checking in luggage, so I will be going straight to security)

For the infant? Sure.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
