Planning my next journey, the airlines I am flying do not allow a rear-facing infant seat.
[One airline doesn't allow it at all, the other doesn't allow it over a certain weight.]
Bassinets are also too small, the airlines I am flying have 71cm or 76cm bassinets, and infant is already 78cm, and flight is two months away!
The only choice seems to be between a forward-facing carsear, or the
CARES system.
To me, it seems that the CARES option is the more convenient option, but I was wondering if anyone has personal experience with this, which you would recommend. I am dealing with a couple of long-haul flights, and am looking for an option which will allow for relatively comfortable sleeping, this is really important.
Also, anyone have first-hand experience with convenient ways of transporting carseats, such as
this or
this.
