Just trying figure out the best move.
I would say if you are flush with miles, just buy J. Though you probably have a good chance of getting an empty seat in F.

-You can only have forward facing carseats in CX F.

I don't think it would be an issue. At check-in, they just ask how many pieces you have so they can get the right baggage tags.

southwest insisted on a birth certificate to prove my six week old was under 2  :o who even has a birth certificate at 6 weeks

speaking to a supervisor and explaining in a pre 1 a teacher fashion how 2 yr olds tend to look older than 6 wk olds
