Here is the full story
Beautiful story.
I have another one. That I know who it happened to.
Orah, a baalas teshuva, sefardi, non- American (so poor English) married an American and lived in BoroPark. She was in her late 30's when she married and didn't immediately have children. Then the Mumbai terrorist event happened and everyone was wary of strangers. One Shabbos, Orah, instead of going to her usual shul, dropped in for musaf at a local chssidishe shul. The shul women became quite concerned. A dark stranger, who not only speaks no yiddish, but barely speaks English was too frightening. Someone went to alert the men and Shomrim was called.
Orah was mortified! She tried explaining that she was there to daven, but it took a while until things calmed down. She ran home.
After Shabbos, one of the neighbors heard about this incident. The Rebbe of this minyan was known to give brachos that were mekuyam. So the neighbor approached the gaboim and asked that the Rebbe give her a bracha to make up for her embarrassment at his shul. Meeting the Rebbe and getting the bracha was a wonderful experience for Orah and her husband.
They had a baby within the year.
