There was a question with the Beis Halevi's medical treatment. A bunch of people in the room, together with most of the doctors, opined that there was no hope to treat the BH's condition. One dr. said he thought there was a surgery that could help. R Chaim said to go with that dr. After the surgery was successful, he was asked, why he didn't go with the roiv? He responded that since everyone was saying like that, he realized the doctors weren't stating an opinion based on medicine, rather, they were giving an opinion just like all the other people in the room. The only one who gave a medical opinion was the lone dr. So he went with him.
