Scrolling through my tech news feed this morning, I was struck by the number of headlines that read something like this: "All the most watched movies are horrible - here's what you really should watch" or "The Netflix top 10 is all low-rated. Watch these instead..."
It's like, who decides what is good and what is horrible? Surely the statistics should matter more than the critics reviews, or at least weigh in on the matter? Let's say 50 critics rated it less than 5/10. But two million people chose to watch it. Shouldn't that count for something?
