The vast majority of the time it does. That is why I said don't use it. Do I believe @Yehuda57 means it that way, no. Others will take it that way and feed off it.
I'm at a loss. This is exactly what happened. She was asked about antsemitism and responded with Islamaphobia.
This was exactly the same as when white people answer "ALM" when someone brings up anti-black racism.
Now, this could have been explained away as a blunder, like this:
She didn't answer the question (SOP for press secretaries) that was asked and botched the answer anyway.
Ok, so then she is gonna fix it, right?
Then today she did answer the question
And what did she say? She started saying antisemitism is bad, just like she did the first time... and then once again spoke about Islamaphobia. She completely missed the issue, because of the history that I explained above.
Translation: She did to the Jews what white supremacist did to the blacks.
You were the only one who mentioned white supremacists. There is a long, long way to go from being a "soft" racist and saying "ALM" to being a white supremacist. But yes, what she did is *exactly* the same as what ALM means to BLM.
Did he just ALM the Jews?ETA: I guess I got my answer already. See how dangerous this is?
To quote someone else in the news, this tweet didn't happen in a vacuum. On its own, this tweet is perfectly fine, but in the context of the kerfuffle over his spokesperson's press conferences, it does appear that this might be an attempt to double down on ALMing Jews.
