That was just an example. Look this is not an indictment of everyone here.
There are many here that speak up no matter what.
Since I stop posting with these kool-aid drinkers I can name ten things that happen recently they got basically zero posts about.
While you are at it, please forward me mainstream or local media coverage of:
1a) Increased attacks on visible Jews on the streets of New York in Queens, Borough Park, Crown Heights, Monsey, etc.
1b) Possible culpability for those attacks by the governor and mayor for their rhetoric in publicly singling out Orthodox Jews for non-compliance, often with outright lies and unfounded claims, and sometimes with exaggerations, and even when true, the double standard of not singling out other groups or minorities.
1c) Possible culpability for those attacks by the media for their framing and portrayal of visible Jews in regard to non-compliance, often with outright lies and unfounded claims, and sometimes with exaggerations, and even when true, the double standard of not singling out other groups or minorities.
2) Attack on visible Jews expressing solidarity at a BLM protest.
You can't expect individuals to speak out about any case of bigotry, that's not hypocrisy, that's just selective silence. If double standards are applied, that would be hypocrisy. But when it is being committed by the highest levels of governmental power, and being ignored by the media, that silence is hypocrisy.
