LMS - Last Man Standing.. Not FMS (First Man Standing) - This game is for night time only, not morning, afternoon, or evening.. NIGHT TIME ONLY!!

At night while most of the world is sleeping there are some members which are looking to socialize since they have no one else to speak to; they play a really exciting and fun game which basically every couple minutes you write a comment, the comments range from standing to sleeping, from young grasshoppers to old grasshoppers. it usually begins around 1:00 am EDT

RULES OF THE GAME:

1) Game starts at 1am Eastern, 12am Central, 11pm mountain, 10pm pacific... You get the point.
2) Anyone can call a roll call, just make a reply with "Roll Call". The roll call must be readable to the naked eye.
3) No more than one roll call every thirty minutes.
4) You have 30 minutes to respond to the roll call to stay active.
5) To respond to a roll call just post a reply with "Here" or "y y y"
6) If after one hour there are no more "Roll Calls" or "Heres", then the last person to post correctly either by calling a roll call or with a reply of "here" is declared winner of LMS.
7)You must have been awake for at least 12 hours before making or answering a RC.

OR IN SHORT:

When someone calls for a roll call. No more than one every 30 minutes and you have 30 minutes to respond "Here".

Amazon in Israel is even worse. They'll leave it in the apartment building in front of your door and then run off.

We were going away for Shabbos and Friday afternoon i saw a delivery guy go into our building as we were leaving. As a hunch I went back to check and sure enough, he dropped it down in front of the door without waiting for someone to answer.
Another time he gave it to a neighbor.
For the record, I have been using Amazon in Israel for 10 years. They actually had wonderful service, friendly and willing to go the extra mile (I had one driver who came to meet me in the local park because I wasn't at home - he just had me prove I was who I said by dialing him back). I had one driver who used to ask me to meet him out front. One time I wasn't home and my wife had to come out with the kids, and the driver actually yelled at her - "Why didn't you tell me you had kids!?" From that point, every time we had that driver he came up to our door.)
However, once Amazon reinstated free shipping after Corona, the quality of the drivers went way down. At this point anything can happen, from dumping expensive packages in the lobby. But I still get the occasional nice friendly driver.

FedEx is incompetent.  Don't ever rely on FedEx for anything important.

(In case you're unaware, they actually use subcontractors. It's an extremely non-professional operation).
On that note- I have shipments almost daily to my office building - but not the easiest to find my spot. After 2 years of no issues , FedEx decided the address is incorrect. 2 packages they returned to sender. A third package - about 5k of contents , they redirected to a different address , in a different city nearby - from Airmont NY to spring valley - to my home address lol. At least it ended up well in the end but who would decide that ??

Do you recognize this?

Center up, top right*, center up, top right, center up, top 180 degrees,
center down, top right, center down, top right, center down, top 180 degrees.

*All instances of right can be replaced with left with no effect (but it must be all, not some).

It's referring to the entire center section. Equivalent to turning both sides in the opposite direction.

(I just tried this move now and learned something new :))

Ah. It's an illusion though - I wouldn't consider it that the center is moving - I would call it R'L

Rubik's cube

Correct, though the answer I was looking for was "Rubik's Maneuver" (this sequence reverses the orientation of the front and back edge pieces on the top, and is the final step used, if necessary, when solving a cube using the method presented in the Ideal Toy Company's booklet "The Solution").

The center doesn't move on a Rubik's cube
Ah. It's an illusion though - I wouldn't consider it that the center is moving - I would call it R'L

The center squares don't move in relation to each other, but if you restrain 2 sides, you can rotate the center between them.

Can also unlock one of those combination locks if the code was set as such.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Just learned a new term and I found it really interesting:

Barnum Effect

Basically, a person could describe a personality and you think he's spot on talking about you but really it's vague. Since people have so many aspects of their personality, many people will take any vague description and think you are discussing them because it fits with certain aspects.

For example, If I look at your handwriting and bluff, saying that it shows "you think things through deeply, you sometimes are hesitant but when you decide to do something you go all the way", many people will say "Wow, that is exactly me. He must be a pro", when in reality, it's something that most people can think it's them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnum_effect
