LMS - Last Man Standing.. Not FMS (First Man Standing) - This game is for night time only, not morning, afternoon, or evening.. NIGHT TIME ONLY!!

At night while most of the world is sleeping there are some members which are looking to socialize since they have no one else to speak to; they play a really exciting and fun game which basically every couple minutes you write a comment, the comments range from standing to sleeping, from young grasshoppers to old grasshoppers. it usually begins around 1:00 am EDT

RULES OF THE GAME:

1) Game starts at 1am Eastern, 12am Central, 11pm mountain, 10pm pacific... You get the point.
2) Anyone can call a roll call, just make a reply with "Roll Call". The roll call must be readable to the naked eye.
3) No more than one roll call every thirty minutes.
4) You have 30 minutes to respond to the roll call to stay active.
5) To respond to a roll call just post a reply with "Here" or "y y y"
6) If after one hour there are no more "Roll Calls" or "Heres", then the last person to post correctly either by calling a roll call or with a reply of "here" is declared winner of LMS.
7)You must have been awake for at least 12 hours before making or answering a RC.

OR IN SHORT:

When someone calls for a roll call. No more than one every 30 minutes and you have 30 minutes to respond "Here".

In order to keep in shape, i decided to take an hour walk daily on a treadmill. My friend recommended that i learn while doing so and he raised the following shailoh.

Does one receive schar pesios for learning while on a treadmill? i figured since there are quite a bit of lakewood scholars here you could figure it out?

(the chabadniks here in CH would scoff at such a question.)

I would have to side with @rcarrentals as Random Posts thread should include leitzanus as well.

+1 happend to me in tlv, 15 min before flight they didn't let me on plane, so I had to go to bottom floor and a huge tour to get my bags back.

If u work for a living, why kill urself working?

I have what I think is a great idea for a new thread. I have a trip coming up from nyc to phx, with a few hour break in LA(meaning nyc to LA and then LA to phx). So my idea is to have a thread where people post what is close to a stopover airport and what you can do to kill the time. How far is the airport from an interesting site or kosher restaurant.  I think a lot of people have stopovers between flights and need to kill time. So this would give people ideas of what to do based on how much time you have and what is available. So, what does the 'oylem' think?

Today in the morning was the first time we began using our new coffee maker.

But the coffee seems to be too light, even though I put in 3 tablespoons of coffee.

Anyone know how I can have the coffee come out more dark?

If it makes a difference, its a Black & Decker and used Starbucks Dark French Roast ground.

you need to put one scoop of coffee (which may measure 1 tbsp., I am not sure because I have a scooper) for each cup of coffee. You look on the side of the machine after you add water and see the water level, where it shows the number of cups that you put in. Then you add that many scoops of coffee. If the level shows 5 cups, then you add 5 scoops or 5 tbsp

I only did one cup of water at a time with 3 tablespoons of coffee, and still too light.

your cup is not their cup. you have to look on the side at the water level and that will tell you how many cups you put in.  I just measured my scooper and it measures around 1 tbsp. so, for every cup they say you put in, that's how many tbsps you should put in. if you did put in a 1:1 ratio based on their cup amounts, then the only reason it would be light is that it is a very light roast

A coffee scoop should be 2 Tbsp.
Use 1 such scoop per "cup" which for coffee is 6 oz.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.
