Recently my GPS unit (handheld, not built in to car) broke.
I'm trying to get it covered by my Citi MaterCard Extended Warranty.
However, they are claiming it's a vehicle accessory and may not be covered.
This is the clause they are using to try to deny the claim.
"Motorized vehicles, including, but not limited to, automobiles, watercraft/boats, aircraft,
and motorcycles, or their motors, equipment, or accessories. Parts, if purchased separately,
may be covered."
I have not heard back from them yet. However, I read in other forums they often they deny such claims.
Anyone has experience with this and/or advice for me?
Thanks a lot!
