I'm not to familiar with North Miami beach but as far as Miami beach make sure to stay away from the four points by Sheraton probably the worst starwood property out there. I was just there this past weekend end I stayed at the Fountain Bleu they had a promotion pay for three nights and get the fourth free I am not sure how long you are going fo but there are many hotels that offer the pay for three nights and the fourth night is free

So I was in the post office today and some random guy was talking about the NMB counsel meeting last night, and he said they approved a 12 story building with a ton of parking to be built on NE 171st St. and West Dixie highway.
That would be about a 20-25 min I think to the Jewish community there.

He said it is going to be a new Hyatt hotel.

I know it will easily be 1.5 + years away, but I was wondering if anybody knows where we can find out more info on this?

Still years away, doubt it will be in the Eruv but will be kinda close to NMB

That is the worst location to build this project, its right near my office. The congestion there will be horrible

This is not what west dixie highway needs, besides for the fact that you cannot expand the road because of the train tracks. the walk is about 1 hour I know because I did it

A good space for a hotel would be like 163/167 towards 8th ave...great for people traveling etc
