FYI i reead somewhere that drying non-iron shirts with fabric softener removes the treatment which makes it non-iron

however if you dry it for a few min. the wrinkles tend to come out and it looks a lot better.

I have lands end, paul frederick, and brooks brothers non iron, and the brooks brothers are by far the best. i have found the outlet brooks brothers to be worse quality than the regular 1818. the paul frederick ones wash a little better than the lands end. but i have mostly lands end that i bought for under $9 each a few months ago.

Which are the outlet ones? I have ones that say '346' on the label, how do they compare?

the 346 are the outlet ones. sometimes you can find 1818 in the outlet but it is more rare especially non iron shirts. 346 is their second cheaper line that goes straight to outlet.

Where and when can I pick up Eagle shirts for a good price?

The only place I know that sells them is Macys. If you have a coupon (which come in the mail all the time) and go when there's a sale (which is basically every Friday aside from they're tons of other sales) and use your macys card (which gets you even more off if you apply for one) then you can get them for about 30 a shirt. Otherwise they're around 40 (though I think they start at 60, they're usually on sale for 45). Check macys.com you can see them there, but don't buy them from there. I've never payed more than 33$ each for them
