Dear HP customer,
On Sunday, August 5, 2012 on HP’s retail website,
www.hpdirect.com, there was a pricing error for the HP Pavilion h8-1300z desktop PC, whereby the final price resulting from the application of a $120 discount on the original price of $699 was mistakenly calculated as $120. Pricing was erroneously listed at $120 instead of $120 off select configurations. Based on HP’s terms and conditions, your order which was generated from the erroneous pricing has been canceled and your card will be credited for the amount of your PC purchase. Your refund has been released by HP and will reflect on your Credit card or other payment account within 3 to 5 business days depending on your bank’s processing time. The website has been corrected, and the $120 discount on the select configurations is in place through Aug. 7 but we will honor the $120 discount through Aug. 10. If you are still interested in taking advantage of the $120 discount please contact HP’s call center at 1-800-331-5808.
HP’s published terms are as follows:
http://www.shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-office/-/static/page-terms Despite our best efforts, items on our web site may, on rare occasion, be mispriced. If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and we value your continued business.
