At one point earlier in the evening it had stopped working for many, and then myb821 reported that it's still live. At that time, Yehuda S, myself, and I'm assuming myb821 all ordered, and the 3 of us still have uncancelled orders in production. I wonder if all orders placed later at night (mine was already Aug 6th) slipped under their radar because they thought it was stopped already earlier?

Interesting idea. It was very late. I don't know how I missed the thread but I decided to check if it was still working and it was. I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it so I just put in a  nice configuration and ordered. I don't even know what you added to push it to $3000    . Mine is *just* $1500. I didn't go for a second hard drive or a crazy graphics card but it is still a monster PC. 8 core 10 Gig RAM. Plus I didn't use the $20 certificate.

mine was placed later at night, being i live in israel, i placed my at 8 am here  thats 1am in america (i used a usa ip) and they were cancelled 2 days later

I received information that all orders will be cancelled and credited (if it was charged) However, everyone who ordered will be given 2 options, a 20% discount on any H8-1300Z Desktop configuration or a $200 off HP Store merchandize (He didn't mention any small prints or limitation except limit one offer per customer) An email regarding this is being sent out as we speak. Please do take this as a gain of salt until such an email is received and confirmed.
