Cat. 1 Starwood in Chambersburg, PA

I booked this hotel using cash and points. It's 1200 Starpoints and $25, and seems very nice.

It's in Southcentral PA, and other than nearby Gettysburg and a few U-pick farms, I don't really know what to do.

Does anyone have any ideas for the area? My kids are all 5 and under. Has anyone gone to the Shenandoah Mountain range nearby?

Most Starwood properties have liberal cancellation policies. Book first, research later especially with cash & points.

I know that I can cancel, but I would like to go anyway. I just wanted to know if there are interesting things to do nearby, that I wouldn't be able to find from a simple googling.

I already found Gettysburg and an amusement park called Cluggy's, and the Shenandoah scenic drive.

I agree with Bubkiz. I booked two nights a week for every week this summer using cash and points, just in case I want to go.
