first of all i don't think you are right, secondly there is much much less stress placed on the brakes when you do press them  because you don't build up much momentum, anyways here are two more pics of Pikes peak

I'm not trying to say that it's the most amazing in the world but it is amazing! and surely is worth 13$ even for the most seasoned traveler!
plus the pics were taken  roughly 2/3rd up, from the car all the pics on the top had me or my wife in them

The common denominator is "stories where people returned an item in not-exactly-new condition, and it shows". The tsunami had nothing to do with that.

Didn't look at it that way because I understood (and still assume) that Gamestop BOUGHT the item and sold it a second use.
