htbt. Every day the city workers would gather up the empty bottles of vodka and beer. This was not done as chesed, rather the first guy was too drunk to realize that there was something left. It was not the minhag to drink less than 1 bottle, after multiple bottles they would end up leaving some over by mistake.

i def could be wrong about this but dont most vegans eat eggs. they are unfertilized so not an animal at all

apparently there is a diff bet vegetarians and vegans. vegans are the crackpots who dont eat anything including eggs. their loss

They do not drink milk, do not wear leather etc. No using animal products even if not from dead animal.

silk is made from silkworms. I would guess wool too. Maybe it depends how machmir, frum, or "rationalist" they are.

I know a couple who used to be vegan hippies. They had lots of trouble getting good hiking boots.
