What do you guys think about this - http://www.businessinsider.com/credit-card-offers-could-lose-their-luster-soon-2012-7

If the card companies wanted to pull back on marketing the cards they would have done so already, the article is just a few baseless assumptions.

REMEMBER: The best thing you can do to make yourself attractive to card companies, regardless of how eager they are for new business on the macro level, is to maintain an excellent credit history -- and use credit responsibly. The deals out there for those with "average credit" are significantly less lucrative, and usually don't offer much in the way of a bonus or competitive intro rate, even in the best of times.

Utter BS. The CC companies target the newbies for the hot offers to draw them in.

People who don't pay on time, and end up paying 35% APR are the targets for CC companies. Utter nonsense. Its a bunch of baseless assumtions.

P.S. - We who pay on time and take advantage of C offers are called "deadbeats"

I assume u don't read business insider often. As they are always sensational and writing stories based on thin air.
They will go as low as one could to generate a few clicks

IMHO that's how it once was that they didn't like the deadbeats but I think nowadays with so many people settling on there debt for a couple cents in the dollar they are happier with there 2 or 3 cents on the dollar
