Cheap Tickets to Israel - PRICE MISTAKE (maybe)!

Elal IL told me fee applies after x5 HUCA.
Elal US I PUTPAC twice and the conversation went the same both times: "Yes, we can still cancel with no fee. Wait.. You have to call Expedia to cancel this..
Now I'm on hold cause the Expedia agent is calling Elal... 

Any update?  What about changing the date, is Elal still offering $75 upgrades?

She got back on the line and said it's been cancelled with no penalty including the $75 upgrade fee refund.
She said it's being refunded by Elal so I guess I expect the 6-8 weeks drill...

Same here, but I lost patience after waiting 30 days (That's how long they said it'll take) . I disputed it with Amex and worked like a charm.

I cancelled and got refunded within 2 weeks of cancellation.  (I don't remember the exact date I cancelled)

Anyone upgrade these tickets to business class, and if so details please? I'm going in 2 weeks and want to know if there's any way to upgrade.

I just flew from ord-cdg-tlv and same way back. For the American flights, American was only able to put in the request for systemwide upgrades in the Admirals club, I got upgraded to Paris and from Paris on the American flights. On the El Al flights if you login to your reservation on their website you can put in a bid to be upgraded for $230 each way. I got upgraded on both El Al flights for that price each way. So yes, if you know what to do and who to talk to, you can get upgraded.

In the end, my $370 ticket became a $830 ticket (American never took out the systemwides from my account) but with Business class on each flight of the ticket. Plus, I also got a $300 cert from American for not having kosher meal and overhead light not staying on. Great trip, should have booked more than one

Nothing to special. I was on the 767 and the 737, same seats both flights, deep recline and foot rests go up. But mainly, VERY comfortable and slept the whole flights.

Technically, you can't. I gave them the American flight numbers and record locator and they were only able to do it in the admirals club. but even more she did take them i got turned off many times. and thats why they werent take out.

Does anyone have a number or an idea on how to reach a superviosr in customer relations as ELAL is giving me the run around on using the $75 vouchers?

When I upgraded I was promised vouchers [never got them] and told I could combine them as long as the last name stayed the same. 

So now I want to use them.

They are saying sorry - it has to be one of the orginal names and not a different child!!!

The superviosr has left for the day - call back tomorrow.
