You can definitely change time of day once you're switching to a direct flight, but I wonder if they will now let you change dates. The rational would be that they would rather you fly on their metal so they might be willing to accommodate!

I booked a Toronto relative flights from JFK-TLV. Think they'll let me switch it to YYZ-TLV direct?

Changes to the non-stop will not be made until Monday. And the rep said that the most that they would probably allow a change would be a day or two in each direction.

Umm, that's a world of a difference for people getting in Friday 1 hour before shkia!! Although even without a date change, the change to direct flight would help them too.

They should allow cuz its still saving them.
