Is the charge still deducted from the available balance?
Many times it disappears from pending,but comes back couple days later as posted, esp. With amex.

Nope, the charge is not deducted from available balance. Its a chase Visa. I guess I'll wait a few days.

When I added my baby it was $163 after taxes (which I’m assuming is 10% of current ticket price).

How did everyone get it for $15 per infant?

(I would kind of feel weird asking them to change it because of my cheap ticket, but if I do decide to call…)

My baby was on the original ticket so to change the flight to direct they charged me 10% which is 15 bucks

I was on the phone (Israeli number) for 16 minutes from start to finish, awesome! They allowed me to switch the date and just one way. :-)

Same for me I called the El Al in Israel using the 800 number (800-223-6700) and was able to change just my return flight to non stop and extend my trip by two days. Awesome!

according to this it says class G for stop over and class W for direct, can I assume this is true?
if I switch my departure flight to direct would I get class W? does it pay?

Most of these tickets were booked in G. so yes it's G. (G is usually not a bootable code) Never heard of W before.

A little OT (but I'm entitled)...will my lifetime platinum status with AA get me into any lounges in LHR on my way to and from TLV on thse tickets? If not, which CC can I sign up for to get access? I do have the amex plat but don't know if that works in LHR for the AA club, or if there even is an AA club in LHR.

I have a 4 hour layover. Just want to prepare myself.
