Open a card that costs $69 for one night in a mediocre hotel in a bad location?
I think not.

Do you know of any other way to accumulate/acquire Ramada/Wyndham points?

so im about to book. but before I do,
Its down to the Prima Kings or the Ramada.
I understand the Ramada is a little bit nicer and has more of a family program but with the Prima Kings its all about location.

Right now what I think I'm gonna do:
Pre-Yom tov days 9/24-930 stay at Prima Kings
and
Sukkos at the Ramada....

Price is more or less the same between the 2 hotels

Anyone have any input/feedback on these hotels (for sukkos)?
Thanks

I think it's probably around a 45-50min walk straight down Agripas/Yafo

I remember though several years ago the whole extended family went to israel and stayed at the citadel (i didnt even bother looking this time since my wallet cant afford that) but people were saying that some restaurants have yom tov pre-paid dine in meals, so maybe thats an option.

When we were in Israel for Sukkos about 6 years ago we stayed at the Plaza and went to Cafe Rimon for both 2nd day meals. Many people did this and gave their CC before shabbos. It was a heck of a lot cheaper then the meals in the plaza, probably a lot better and you have the option of dairy. By now, I'm sure other restaurants do this too.

I don't know which is nicer.

If you will be at the Kings, make sure to try the chocolate mousse cup.  :)

I came across this reference here (http://medresorts.net/resortdetails.aspx?id=3900) about the Jerusalem Gold hotel:

"Religious orthdox not suitable for families with children."

Does anyone have any idea what that is supposed to mean?
