Any idea what's available here, that would be the equivalent to benadryl or melatonin, that can put a kid out for a few hours possibly for a flight?

So I've heard. Won't get any here to experiment with, so it's irrelevant at this point. I'll test it when I get home.

Gotta give another shout out to Crave in Machane Yehuda.   We ate here on Wednesday and again tonight. It keeps getting better. Fair pricing.  No tipping. (Any tips are given to Lone Soldiers. In fact, they are hosting a SB party tonight for Lone Soldiers.). Food is just delicious.  Interesting flavors.  Big portions.  Good beer. Check out pix.  I posted the hashgacha a year ago above.

Seems like Israeli taxi drivers sense when someone isn't local, even when speaking to them in fluent Hebrew (probably by choosing to sit in the back rather than next to the driver).

PSA: When stopping a taxi, go in, and once seated just tell the driver that you are going to need a receipt. (And depending on where you are going, tell them to turn on the meter).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Maybe your Hebrew isn't as fluent as you think?

He obviously doesn't.

Maybe I should post the Hebrew version:

מתיישבים במונית ואומרים לנהג: סע ל...., ואני צריך חשבונית

With the option to throw in there תפעיל מונה.

I have some zolpidem with me as well as other prescription sleep aids. I don't know about giving to kids, but if you check with a Dr and Ok, I can share.
